नेपाल सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण पर्यटकीय र प्रख्यात तीर्थ स्थल हो। वराहक्षेत्रमा विष्णु भगवानको वराह अवतारको पुजा हुने गर्दछ। वराहक्षेत्र नगरपालिका वडा.नं.-१ मा अवस्थित छ। वराहक्षेत्रमा भगवान विष्णुकाे बराह अवतार लिएको ठाउँ हो। वराहक्षेत्रमा मनिसहरुको आवतजावत मात्र नभएर यश तिर्थ स्थलमा कार्तिक पूणिर्मा र मकर संक्रान्तिमा ठुलठुला मेलाहरु लाग्ने गर्दछ। यस तिर्थ स्थलमा १६ सरादको बेलामा सराद गराउन आउने गर्दछन्। यो बराहक्षेत्रको तल तिर छेउमा सप्तकोसी नदी रहेको छ र त्यहाँ गएर नुहाउने गर्दछन्। त्यहाँको पानी छोय मात्रै पवित्र भइन्छ भन्ने मानिदै आईएको छ।

Nepal is the most important tourist and famous pilgrimage site. The Varaha avatar of Lord Vishnu is worshiped in
Barahkshetra. Barahkshetra Municipality is located in Ward No.-1. Barahkshetra is the place where Lord Vishnu took Barah incarnation. There is not only the movement of people in Barahkshetra, but large fairs are held at Yash Tirtha Sthal on Kartik Poonirma and Makar Sankranti. They come to this pilgrimage site during 16 Saraad to offer Saraad. On the lower side of this Barahkshetra is the river Saptakoshi and they go there to bath. It is believed that just touching the water there becomes holy.
